The colors are glorious, the weather is blustery, fun-size packages have taken over the store. Fall is in full swing.

In other fun news, I learned last week that a short story of mine is a finalist in the Oregon Writer’s Colony annual short story contest. I’ll learn my ranking the first part of November, but I’ll at least have garnered an Honorable Mention.
